SR. CONSTRUCTION MANAGER – 1

Primary Purpose: Co-ordination of various construction projects in a leadership role, coordinate compliance with the schedule, safety, cost, and quality in conjunction with Construction Engineers of different sites.
Location: Kathmandu Valley and other parts of Nepal as required by the company.

REQUIRED KEY SKILLS, ABILITIES AND COMPETENCIES

• BE civil with minimum 10 years’ experience in building construction

• Post-graduation in construction management will be considered an added merit

• Must have completed two projects of at least NPR 250 million in a leadership role 1r

• Thorough knowledge in contact documentation including an exposure to FIDIC

• Experience in project planning by MS projects or Primavera. The latter will be preferred

• Good Public relations with real estate business market

• Strong team building, managerial skills and communication skills

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Oversee and coordinate all on-site-construction activities for compliance with Critical Path Method (CPM) schedule, monitor and enforce compliance with contract requirement

• Implement and monitor construction execution plan and oversee planning and achievement process • Supervise and mentor all subordinates to develop a synergic team

• Manage all works to the standards of Environment, Health and Safety (EHS)

• Analyze, manage and mitigate risks

• Devise mechanism for cost control of projects and develop tools to monitor quality and timely completion

• Prepare budget, methodology and policy guidelines
